SFLIG Volunteer is an outstanding non-profit volunteer and internship organization. We aim to provide education to underprivileged members of our society. Our primary focus is empowering the young to become future leaders of change. Due to limited opportunities in agriculture and informal sectors, families prioritize sons over daughters in education.
As a volunteer and internship organization, we take practical steps to improve educational outcomes for young women. We offer informal education programs and provide training for teenagers through our CHANGEMAKERS AMBASSADORS CLUB. We also provide direct financial support to selected girls to help them academically. We provide sanitary towels and education on reproductive rights and hygiene to girls in orphanages and deprived homes. This helps reduce girls’ absenteeism from school during their menstrual period.
SFLIG Volunteers initiatives are critical in fighting against illiteracy and dropout rates of girls in school.
