Feeding Project

Our feeding project aims to prevent families from going to bed on empty stomachs. It breaks our hearts to see children and families suffering from hunger every day. We believe every child and family has the right to a nutritious and balanced meal. Unfortunately, many struggle even to have one meal. This is especially true for the target group SFLIG Volunteers support and work with. These include orphanages, poor communities, and those with disabilities such as autism and cerebral palsy.

We have established a feeding project that provides food supplies either quarterly or monthly to families. This is to avoid them going to bed on an empty stomach. We also host a yearly Easter and Christmas community party called “When You Eat They Eat”. This is a community-based hot meal cooked by women in the community for the community.  The aim is to bring love to the community while preventing people from going to bed hungry.
