Our medical care and community outreach program in Ghana welcomes volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds — including qualified professionals, medical students, pre-med students, and anyone interested in healthcare. This program combines hospital-based experience with community outreach, giving you a well-rounded understanding of healthcare delivery in Ghana.

As a medical volunteer in Ghana, you will:

• Shadow doctors and nurses in clinics and hospitals
• Assist with basic, non-invasive tasks under supervision
• Support patient care and interaction
• Participate in medical outreach programs in underserved communities
• Assist health workers in orphanages and rehabilitation centers
• Help with basic health education and awareness

Daily Activities

• Morning: Hospital or clinic placement
• Afternoon: Outreach programs or patient support
• Evening: Free time or cultural experience

Community Outreach Experience

A key part of this program is medical outreach, where volunteers:

• Visit underserved and rural communities
• Support basic health screenings and education
• Assist healthcare teams in community programs
