Ghana is surrounded by French-speaking countries, making French an important language for education and communication. However, many schools, especially in underserved communities and orphanages, lack qualified French teachers. Our French teaching assistant program in Ghana connects volunteers with schools where they can support French learning and help students build confidence in speaking the language.
As a French volunteer in Ghana, you will:
Daily Activities
Morning: French lessons in school
Afternoon: Practice sessions, games, or tutoring
Evening: Free time or cultural experience


What to Expect
French is taught from primary school to junior secondary level, but many schools lack teachers — making your role highly valuable.
After orientation, volunteers may teach independently based on their confidence level.
