As a pharmacy and dispensary assistant intern in Ghana,

• Observe pharmacists in dispensing medications
• Assist with organizing and preparing prescriptions
• Support inventory management and stock control
• Help label medications under supervision
• Assist with patient guidance on medication use (non-clinical)
• Learn about common treatments and medications

Daily Activities

• Morning: Hospital, clinic, or dispensary placement
• Afternoon: Inventory support, patient interaction, or learning sessions
• Evening: Free time or cultural experience

What to Expect

You may work in facilities with limited resources and high patient demand, offering valuable insight into real-world pharmaceutical practice in developing communities.

All activities are supervised and based on your level of training.
